I am feeling...

VEXED. Something that I need not think about now, I`m actually thinking of it, and because of this, the feeling is lousy. I dislike making decisions, especially those that will affect my life (sounds serious but Joel being Joel feels that it is serious) in some way or other. I know I am contradicting myself, but I know I got to think about it now, cause I am only given one bloody day to think about it, like WTH. Argh, this is sucky. Despite this really sucky feeling, I have yet to make up my mind, WTH. I don`t know, I don`t know and I don`t know. FCUK.

My reflections:

My biggest achievement/reflection in 2006:
to do your best, and not try your best.

My motivation for the past few months:
strive.

There is a good thing about blogging, it holds my memories. Once again, I read through those old, almost forgotten posts, and majority of them were about academics. BOO. So I thought, maybe sometimes I expect too much from myself? Maybe, I`m not sure, being the first person, I won`t be able to see a clear picture. That`s what I feel, too much expectations from academics for myself, but of course, there`re other factors too. There are still some thoughts and feelings, but I am lazy lah.

Arrival of 2007

2007 resolutions:
  1. Good grades for academics.
  2. To be a better daughter.
  3. Take up sports.
  4. A healthy and happy family.

Something to rejoice about, I heard from Mum that the family will be going out for dinner during New Year eve. So once again, a full force family! Plus, plus, my auntie`s parents. Anyway, we had a great time during Christmas and I have to emphasize the ice cream log cake from Swensens was simply delicious. Yummy!

School is going reopen real soon, superb soon and I am sooooooooooo not looking forward to it. One thing to rejoice: there`s no holiday homework to rush for. Yay - rejoice! Okayrrrr, at the same time, the feeling is kind of lousy. A totally new environment - SHITtos. Suddenly, I`ll start to miss my good-old ZHSS days. (duh?!) Yar lah, I miss 2e3`o4, I miss 4e2`06. Yes, the feeling is lousy.

Thats all Folks!

HOME SWEET HOME.

Yes, I miss my bed and my bolster! I was in Malaysia during the weekdays and was back on Friday night. The weather in Genting was fantastic, other than the occasional stinko tyre smell coming out from those Malaysian vehicles on the road. My hair would be in a big mess by the time I wind up the car window but I like the weather! On the other hand, the weather caused my skin to be dry, dry, dry and dry! At the same time, I was too lazy to do my mask up there. We didn`t go to the theme park, or I should say, we only went up to Genting Highlands (as in the really high one) for liked 2-3 hours? It was just too crowded, and we couldn`t be bothered to squeeze with the crowd. Food there was alright, the Mushroom Farm was the best, I ate the most there too. I tried to play golf at Genting too, not at the green, just the driving range. My father was our instructor, hahas. We picked the balls from the driving range ourselves, since the person-in-charge there couldn`t be bothered. Golf made my hand skin peeled off, but it`s a nice sport though. We didn`t manage to try the hot swimming pool due to the wet weather. It was 3 days 2 nights at Genting.

Then we made our way down to KL. We had a whole lot of food list to conquer, hahas. Just imagine how much weight I`ve put on. Our holiday policy: holiday equals to no jian fei. Hahas! The hotel was great! The bed was comfortable and the shower bath is hot! So basically, it was food, food, food and still food. Oh yar, we went swimming, bowling and gymed too. Bowling was freaking cheap, RM10 for 4 games. Hello, where can you get this from Singapore. I regretted gym-ing though, my leg is still sore from it. This is the result for not exercising. We met Glenn, Timothy, Noel, Beijia and Eunice. Okay, actually I knew I`ll be meeting Glenn since Sunday. I didn`t spend time with them though. FOOD! No shopping, although I think I can buy a whole lot of stuffs back. Times Square alone is good enough for me. We were hoping to stay an extra night because of the flood in Malaysia, but I miss my bed! So on the way home, we saw the flooded areas. We were lucky as in the rain stopped on Friday, or the highway would be affected. It was an experience to have witnessed. We headed for dinner before coming back to my square box through second link.

Thats roughly my Malaysia trip at Genting and KL.

FAMILY GATHERING.

Ahma had all her 9 grandchildren present on Saturday. I feel happy for her (: I mean we are all grown ups, we have our own programmes every now and then. Its great that we get together every Saturday to have dinner. It may not be a feast, but my auntie is a great cook (: To celebrate Christmas, mummy bought a log cake and we had a lucky draw thingy. Then my brother and I went for midnight movie with my cousins (another side of the family), Night at the Muesum. The ride back was great, windows down, music blasted and the cool wind was fantastic, just that my hair went hay wire after that =/. I want to watch Curse of the Golden Flower and 'Shang Cheng'!

CHRISTMAS EVE.

I was at my relative`s house by late morning, preparing the stuffs for Christmas feast. Then we headed to the airport to pick up my uncle and auntie. They only came back 6 years ago according to my mummy, when my grandfather passed away. It has been quite some time, so we were wondering if we could still recognise them, hahas. We headed for dinner after that, 3 cars made the journey smooth and comfortable. I want to learn to drive when I`m at the legal age! Back to my relative`s house for beer/wine drinking. I fell asleep halfway through watching The Polar Express on HBO =/.

MERRY CHRISTMAS people!

Merry Christmas! Church service is at 8.30am. How am I supposed to get up?! I didn`t realise it was Christmas at 00.00. I thought it was still Christmas eve then =/, see how time flies. So on Christmas day, my mother side will have all the family members present, finally, since my uncle and auntie are back. How I wish my Ahgong would be present too, I know he will be there to look upon us <3s.

The arrival of Christmas day means that 2007 lies ahead of us. I dont think I `m looking forward to it. =/. It`s time that I reflect on 2006 and set my targets for 2007. Fight on Girl!

Anyway, I`m going gaga recently over FeiLunHai and Junyang! Junyang is definitely, hahas. FeiLunHai, because WuZun is around! Yes, yes, Wuzun! Whees~!

I want shopping! I know this is sudden, but I want shopping! Its Christmas and I have yet to but any presents =/. I`ll still get it! I will, I will!

That`s all Folks! (I watched Looney Tunes Back in Action twice in Malaysia!)

Enjoy your Christmas! God Bless.

HERE I GO.

My mother and I are done with the Christmas gifts for my cousins, so am I done with the wrapping of presents. By the way, Waimun what do you want for Christmas? I haven`t got much time left you see.

I went kgarden with Meihui, Kwanchiu, Weirong and Jackson on Tuesday. Warning: Never drink lime juice when you`re singing. It killed my throat. Luckily it was during the last hour, or my money would have gone down the drain. Then we went Chomp Chomp for dinner and ordered 4 dishes (it has supposed to be 5, but apparently the satay beehoon lady seems to have forgotten Weirong). Kwanchiu and I seem to be hungry ghosts, grabbing food here and there, leaving Jackson with a little stingray and Weirong with the finest dining ettitque among us. Then we headed for ice cream, and just because I ordered lime again, Weirong and kwanchiu said I`m pregnant. Like HUH?! Forget about the two jokers.

Met up with Weirong and Don on Wednesday for pool at yishun safra. Expensive but a better environment, which I don`t really mind.

So today, I went Vivocity with Don and bought 2 tops. If I had the money, I would purchase even more and much more! Mummy said to go back there on Saturday but I decline her offer, how nice of me (just joking, don`t start vomitting blood).

I`ll be going Malaysia next week from Monday to Friday, it`s damn long can. It has been quite some time since the family travelled together, so I shall learn to cherish the trip. I bet I`ll put on weight when I return, it will be food, food, food and food all day long. Man, my tummy will protrude in no time =/. So when I`m back from Malaysia, I can imagine what my days would be liked.
  • 23/12/06: tidy up the house
  • 24/12/06: it`s Christmas eve! Off to the airport to pick up my uncle, and back to my relative`s house to make 'siew mai' (it used to be my grandfather`s speciality, I miss him). Attend midnight churh for Christmas. No partying with friends :(
  • 25/12/06: Merry Christmas! A festive season spent with family.
  • the last week of december: Mum`s on leave.
  • The arrival of 2007
  • 03/01/07: A new challenge begins. [My father told me to take a bus to school, he isn`t fetching me, thats sad.]

Yes, I considered my holiday kind of pathetic. 1 and a half months of holiday, though there`s no homework, yet the time seems to be flying, too fast. There are so many things yet to be fulfilled, so many things yet to buy. And poof, 2006 is going to be over real soon. Somebody asked me why I would not get bored staying at home all day long. I don`t know why. Anti-social? Prefers to live in this square box? Well, I thought maybe I don`t expect much. BOO. I shall stop my nonsense.

I don`t think I`ll be blogging till I`m back from Malaysia, unless I feel like it. =/

Anyway, an advance HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my twin, chinnie! I did focus on watching hua yang shao nian shao nu episode 4. hahas.

Enjoy yourself people and take care!

Untitled.

I went out with Waimun today. I actually reached 10 minutes before our meeting time, what an achievement. We realised we were too early (we met at 11), so we walked to the Esplanade (did i spell it correctly?) and sat there to pass time. Then we went to try New York New York!

This is their menu, kind of creative I think. Well we ordered Vegetable soup, Potato wedges, Sandwiches and Lime Light Lemon. The vegetable soup was a little salty, yet kind of tasty, and we actually forgot to add pepper (we just knew something was missing!). However, I kind of regretted ordering the soup went the bill came. =/ The potato wedges were supposed to be spicy, but it isn`t. I tell you, it is killer food. We added pepper and mixed our own chilli and tomato sauce to spice up the food, we could have saved a dollar. There you go:

As for the sandwiches:

I ordered spicy salmon mayo (but it wasn`t spicy for your information) and Waimun ordered some mushroom thingy (is it?). Just look at the way she observed the food.

The Lime Light Lemon was rather alright, just that it wasn`t sourish enough. It did help me to digest a tiny bit though. By the way, I couldn`t even finish the sandwich, yet Waimun forced me to eat the potato wedges (that`s why it`s a killer food).

So byebye New York New York and we went Marina Square. We didn`t really shopped much though, just bought a present and that`s it. White doesn`t have my size! Argh! We got real bored and decided to play pool. Damn, it was expensive! We were trying to improve our skills there though, and I finally see some strength in me. Then we headed for Starbucks for a drink before I ran off to catch my bus back home. I bet my running posture was real ugly, maybe I wasn`t even running. Before I start to miss my good-old-track-days, on the bus:

I was reading my previous, previous, well past posts and I realised I do brood alot over academics. At the same time, I realised I do voice out quite a bit through blogging in the past, and perhaps not now. Now that I haven`t touch books for quite some time, I can imagine how rusty my brain is, maybe I have even forgotten all the bits and pieces of academic stuffs I`ve mugged over the past 2 years. And yes, O level has been over for quite some time but time to time I`ll still start to think how my results will be liked. Good or bad? It is fated to what results I will achieve in months to come? At the same time, I seriously don`t think I have any niche areas. Shrugs. My holidays so far? I don`t know. Time passes real fast, really very fast. It`s already December now and that means holiday is going to end real soon! Boo! A new year is coming which means new challenges are coming too. Life`s like that.

Oh yar, mum almost pissed me off just now. =/

Christmas is coming real soon! I always believe Christmas is a good festive season. Anyway, Kbox session anyone?

I`m feeling down, my heart relied on no one, just me, myself and I. I wished my brain was dead.

Brain dead, no more.

I went rock climbing for the first time last Friday. Thanks to the guidance of my cousins and brother, I managed to climb right up to the top twice. It doesn`t seem that high (it`s 6 storeys high by the way) when you look up from the ground or when you look down, its when you descend, "when will I ever reach the ground?!". It was quite an experience though.

Weekends was spent with my family as usual.

Met up with Don yesterday to play pool and yup, I had a great dinner with Abi too. (:

I tasted tears.

Well Oh Well.

I was drained out by 2e3 chalet, not that I did much, just that I didn`t sleep for a night. Sleeping is super precious to me, so I can`t resist but to say I LOVE MY BED (: After taking my hot shower bath, which seriously seems heavenly to me for that period of time, I tried to zilian to wait for that screwed up hair of mine to dry. Yes, I think my hair is screwed up, not by anyone, but me =/. Obviously the results of self-loving were horrendous, given the fact that my mother exclaimed on my panda eyes when I reached home. LOL. Worse to come, my dad said my face looked like shit =/. To make up the lost I had, I slept till 2.30 the next afternoon, that`s more than 12 hours of beauty sleep, plus 2 hours of disturbance. I was supposed to go down to the tuition centre for job application (which I was really determined the night before), but my legs were aching and I was still in a sub-conscious state. So I went back to sleep for another 2 hours before going for dinner.

One phrase to sum up the whole chalet: I am going to miss 2e3`o4 <3s

Anyway, I went for facial this afternoon and I find myself silly.
The lady: Do you want to trim your eyebrow?
JOEL: I don`t know.
The lady: Does your school allow?
JOEL: I don`t think so.
???!!! Obviously my brain has become retarded after being neglected for 2 weeks. Firstly, I`ve graduated from leafy. Secondly, I`m on holiday now, do I even have to bother about what-so-ever school rules? Thirdly, I must be a retard. Well, forget it, given the fact that today`s facial cost a bomb.

I haven`t spent much on shopping yet. Correction, I did window shopping most of the times. Summing the amount I spent so far, 200 bucks on hair (including shampoo and conditioner), 244 bucks on facial (including my mask and what-so-ever), and... I can`t be bothered to use my brains to think of where did I spend my money on. However, reality tells me that I have yet to find a job. Daddy insists that I`m too skinny (he must be blind) to help him, plus he hired 2 full time male workers. Damn that 2 fella who stole my rice bowl (direct translation).

Yes, I need money! Anyway, I feel so lazy to get out of the house this few days =/.

I am pleased to announce that MANU won Everton 3-0 last night. There isn`t any live for recent EPL matches, that`s what I heard from my brother. Anyway, I am quite looking forward to the Doha game.

Hey people, make full use of the holiday! Be happy and go shalalalalahs~! (pardon me for my retard-ness).

My brain is dead.
